Matthew Williamson for Sainsburys

British designer Matthew Williamson has collaborated with Sainsburys to create stylish canvas bags in order to raise money for Sports Relief. These shoppers are only £5 each and £1.50 from each purchase is donated to the charity. I have purchased the blue and lime green bags which i intend to use as beach bags as they are bright and a really good size. The bright colours and nature inspired print is perfect for summer 2012. sorry about the quality of the photos, i quickly just took them on my phone. Sarah x

Ray-Ban's

Hey everyone, so it's my birthday today and I just wanted to share with you all my new favourite accessory that will be in my bag everyday just in case the weather in Scotland decides to magically turn nice. My boyfriend must have got fed up with me stealing his Ray-Ban's so very thoughtfully bought me my very own. These are the Wayfarer styled Ray-Ban's in Tortoiseshell which are absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE them, thank you Luca :) x

Looks of the day #9

Dodi: today I went for a comfortable look as I knew i would be in uni all day! Today's weather was also quite nice so I thought I would make the most of it. The Playsuit and shoes are from Primark and the Blazer is H&M. Seem to have forgotten about jewellery today!
Michelle: I never really put much thought into this outfit this morning. I knew that I would be sitting on a computer all day so decided just to go comfy. wearing my usual navy jeans and my knitted jumper both from Zara. So that i didn't look too dark i put my dusty blue blazer on from H&M which i also have in dusty pink and black:). My hair was not cooperating this morning so decided to put a hair band in from primark. I bought these shoes (pictured below) from New Look. I love the cross over straps and they are a really nice material :).

Sarah: The inspiration for my look has been taken from the pastel trend that is everywhere this season. I got my top from ASOS and paired it with my Miss selfridge necklace . My jeans are from American Eagle and shoes are from New Look. i decided to wear quite a light jacket today as it is sunny which i bought from TKMaxx. My rings (pictured below) are Topaz and they were designed by my Gran so they are one of a kind :).

Nicola: I have decided to go for a smart look today with my blazer from H&M and my dress from Oasis. the collar and buttons on the dress gives it a sixties look and the boots give my outfit a modern twist.

Looks of the Day #8

Michelle: I have been looking for a peplum top for a while now and I found this number in Primark yesterday. I love the pattern and the collar and think its a perfect match with jeans. Its an easy way to get a smart casual look. My Jeans are from H&M, Shoes are from Dorothy Perkins and my bag is from eBay.

Dodi: Finally bought myself a dipped hem skirt. I was struggling to find one which I thought would be easy to wear and then found this simple/casual one in Primark yesterday. As I am typing this blog I am realising that every single item I'm wearing is from primark! Fail!
Nicola: Today I decided to go for the country chic look.  I love this dress that I purchased from Warehouse it can be teamed with a lot of my leggings, tights etc.  Again I am wearing my Hunter wellies as they bare well in the Scottish weather as you can probably guess it is raining today! My bag is from the menswear section in River Island but I love it.  I love this look today because its warm, comfortable but still fashionable.

Mhairi:  I couldn't decide what to wear today, so gave up and wore all black and just accessorise.  I decided to go for neutral tones for my accessories.  My bangles (see picture below) are from Oasis and bag is Ted Baker.

Sarah: My jumper dress is from Tesco, my tights are black lace and they are from Marks and Spencer's. My shoes are just from Matalan and my belt is a greeny/bluey snake print detail from Primark. My leather jacket is from Bershka, I don't even know how long I have had this jacket for but its one of my go-to pieces I always wear. My uni bag is Longchamp and my scarf was a present from Spain.

Primark's New Polishes!

Hiiii guys <3

So as the bargain hunter of the group you can imagine my excitement when I saw these beautiful nail varnishes in Primark today. They have a huge variation of colours and effects, there are pastels, neons, crackle effect polishes and glitters. I decided to start off with these two shades to see the quality of the varnishes. I have to say I was really surprised with the quality when applying, I only needed one coat of the plain pastel shade and decided to only apply one coat of the glitter on top. If I was to wear the glitter polish alone I think it would need 2-3 coats to get a full effect. These polishes are £2.50 each and so far I think they are brilliant, however I will update you if I find that it chips too easily!

Michelle's 21st

Hey everyone,

So it was my 21st birthday party at the weekend so I wanted to share my own and my fellow bloggers outfits of the night. i had an amazing night and thanks to Sarah my make-up looked amazing :). So here are our outfits I hope you all like them :)

Michelle: I found my birthday dress in Zara and as soon as I put it on I fell in love. I know its black and very simple but its my style and I feel very sophisticated when I wear black. I love the polka dot mesh sleeves and cut out panel. I also got my heels from Zara which were an amazing find for only £29 but i think they look a lot more expensive than this. To add a little colour to my outfit I went for red lips and nails.I don't normally spend a lot on make-up but since it was my birthday i decided to treat myself to a Lancome lipstick in Absolute Rouge.

Dodi: My dress is from H&M, its a simple black dress with a cutout back. When I tried this on I felt it was very flattering. As the dress is black I thought I would team it with some bright accessories. My ring and arm cuff are from new look. (I do apologise for the scabby nails, they were painted that morning with collection 2000 lasting finish nail varnish, I do not recommend!!) Shoes are also new look, they are a turquoise green snake print with an ankle strap.

Nicola: I bought this dress because it is coming into summer and I wanted something bright and colourful to brighten up the mood. This is my perfect shape of dress and I love wearing lace so I thought it was perfect. My shoes were bought at Christmas and I love the sparkle and shape of them. They are very comfortable and can be worn with almost every outfit.

Mhairi: I bought this dress from BrandAlley (looks better in the picture below) so it was a bargain at £25. The bottom of the dress is in 3 layers, 1 chiffon and 2 lace layers, this makes the dress quite see through. I wore it with a black bodycon skirt under as I felt a bit too naked! I decided when it came to accessories less is more when paired with this dress, so just plain black shoes, gold and black bag, to add some colour, and gold earrings.  The bag was bought on holiday but there are similar patterns on both bags and shoes in Dune.

Sarah: I bought my dress from Monsoon, its a silvery/ grey chiffon dress with square sequins and studs (the picture makes the dress look more blue than grey so apologies). I love the shape of this dress as it is very flattering and is a lovely length. I bought my shoes from New Look and paired the outfit with my Tiffany bracelets and necklace.

My recent Make-up buys

Hi everyone,

As you know I love make-up and constantly buying and looking for new products!

I recently went on a mission to find high-street/drugstore make-up which would work for everyday or work make-up.

Here are some of my finds....

This is my recent buy I bought them to other day to do my fellow blogger Michelle's make-up for her 21st birthday. If you watch Youtube make-up turials you will have heard of Pixiwoo. They are two sisters that create the most amazig videos and inspire me greatly! One of the sister Sam brought out these brushes a while ago, However, I didn't buy them straight away. Until I went into Boots the other day and saw that they were selling them.

I bought the core collection it cost me £21.99 which is great value for 4 amazing brushes. In the pack you get detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush and contour brush. They are the softest brushes I have ever used and gives a flawless finish.

I think I am now addicted to these brushes and will be investing in all of them!

Here is the link if you want to check them out...

http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EndecaSearchListerView?storeId=10052&langId=-1&catalogId=11051&stReq=1&searchTerm=real+techniques&newDepSearch=&x=0&y=0#container

I have known about Sleek palettes but didn't think that they would be worth investing in. But just on whim I thought I would buy the Sleek Storm palette and think it cost me £6.49. I have been pleasantly pleased with the eye shadows they are so pigmented and they have become my everyday staple.

I  FINALLY got the Mac 224 blender brush and its AMAZING! It is expensive but there is a reason for it, it blends make-up to perfection. It think it cost me £22, I know £22 just for a make-up brush but I see brushes as an investment piece that will last.

I love a bargain so these lipsticks were impressive.

The first lipstick on the left hand side is Sleek in Papaya Punch which is a gorgeous matte coral colour, will be great with a tan (sorry about the picture its making it look red!). That lipstick came in at £4.

MUA (make-up Academy) lipsticks only are a £1 which I think you cannot go wrong. I think they only stock like more than 10 colours but they are the perfect colours. The middle one is shade 3 which is an every day glossy nude/beige and the right hand side is shade 7 and is a bright gloss pink.

I really wanted another Mac foundation because I use their Studio Fix in NW25 and really like it on my skin. However, I recently went into my nearest store and got terrible service. I was willing to buy a couple of products which I really like the mineralize skinfinish bronzer, Russian Red Lipstick etc. But after the girl was so rude and unhelpful I walked out disappointed and annoyed to say the least.

So I went into Boots and I do really like No.7 products and I had a £5 off voucher for the brand which made buy. I wanted a new foundation but didn't really know about No.7 new Beautiful Skin BB cream. The sales assistant was extremely helpful and explained the product really well which made me buy it. I was so impressed by the service that I have even written a letter to Boots telling them how well I was treated by the sales assistant Ruth.

The foundation is unique 3-in-1 formula evens and enhances skin tone and disguises imperfections, while the nutrient-enriched formula helps to banish blemishes. It feel amazing on and stays on!!! I hate foundations that seem to disappear within a couple of hours. I also, really like this products as it is really light on the skin but covers all my imperfections.

It normally cost  £12.95 but with my £5 off voucher it came to £7.95.

I love natural define eyebrows which enhance your facial features so this Sleek Brow Kit in light was a steal. It cost me £7.99 it has a light brow powder, a darker brown cream finish, 2 brushes (flat and angled) and a mini pair of tweezers.

I have wanted a new concealer palette with more colours for myself I wasn't that fussed on the quality however, I was impressed with this palette. I got it off ebay for I think £4 so really inexpensive and I must say it does really cover up blemish and imperfections. I also love the green shade to cover up redness and the dark shades to contour. The item arrived within I think 3 days which was great. I will post the link below...

Finally, my beautful fellow bloggers Michelle and Dodi.

Michelle (The birthday girl) wanted a goldy smoky eye and red lips. While dodi wanted a dark eye with some colour. For both of the girl I used the Sleek Storm palette.

Hope you enjoyed this long blog...
